Dear Pastor:
My name is Rosie Gonzalez and I represent Middleman Ministries, a 501C3 tax-exempt organization. We work with the very poor in different villages in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico.
Our vision is to help people be self-sufficient relying only upon God and themselves. Our ministry includes taking food, clothing, medicines, building homes and sharing the love and good news of Jesus Christ. We opened a school in February 2004 which provides them with adult education and/or a trade. Our teachers come from the Mexican government and the students are certified with a diploma upon completion of a 9 month school term. Anyone can give food and shelter to these people, but we believe that teaching them to help themselves would change their lives and that comes through believing in Christ and through education. At the present time, we are providing 1st through 8th grades for adults 13 years and older, sewing, beauty shop, bakery and computer classes.
God has blessed us in allowing us to open a church in Mexico where we preach and teach the Word of God. We believe once you receive Jesus as Lord, we become a new creation in Him. We teach God's truth and also how to live a Christian life of being a servant, walking in God's love, being guided by the Holy Spirit and being a good witness for HIM.
Groups from different churches and individuals come to work alongside us to build homes and minister to God's people through any of the ways I have described. I am a gospel singer and travel the United States singing and sharing the vision God has put upon our hearts for the people of Mexico.
One of the best ways I have seen and experienced in sharing the love of God with His people is to give something to someone who cannot give anything in return. We ask you to pray and if God leads you to get involved and support this ministry by coming as a group or by sharing your prayers and financial suppport it would be a great blessing.
Enclosed is some information to let you know how your church group can get involved and the cost involved as well.
May the Lord Bless You!
Rosie Gonzalez

The following is an estimate of the cost of a 7-day trip excluding travel expenses to and from Texas. The total amounts are for 16 people. Two (2) Middleman guides and 14 group members.
$1,500.00 - Housing
$2,100.00 - Meals
$4,000.00 - Building cost - 1 framed house
$6,000.00 - Building cost - 1 block house
$ 400.00 - Food distribution for community
$ 200.00 - Benevolence(special needs for family building for)
$ 800.00 - Gasoline & bridge fees
$9,000.00 - TOTAL COSTS INCLUDING 1 FRAMED HOUSE
$11,000.00 - TOTAL COSTS INCLUDING 1 BLOCK HOUSE
The cost per ministry team participant is approximately $643.00 if building a framed house. The cost per ministry team participant is approximately $786.00 if building a block house. These costs incorporate the cost of the ministry guides that will travel with the team for the week.
We will register at the hotel after your arrival, followed with a trip to Mexico to tour the area your group will be ministering in.
There will be at least one church service in Mexico during the week. Sometime during the week, a trip to South Padre Island for a fun day will be scheduled and an afternoon at a Mexican market will also be planned. The cost of the ministry trip does not include any costs incurred for personal items, souvenirs, etc. One of the most important words for a missionary is flexability. Things change and we need to adapt with them. Middleman is here to work together with your leaders and we are flexible about any changes they would like to make.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
God Bless You!

and given to the adults and candy given to the children.
* Painting of homes-seeking out some homes in the area and just blessing the family that lives there with
painting their home.
* Screening windows on homes-we cut some screen with scissors and staple it neatly to the outside of their
windows to keep out flies, etc., a real blessing!
* Screen doors-making a screen door to fit their home to keep out flies, insects and creepy crawlers.
* Gardening classes and planting-buying and bringing seeds and plants along with the necessary tools to teach
them to grow plants and vegetables.

around their home.

* Face painting-washable paints that you could paint on the faces of the children which they really enjoy.
* Soccer-bringing a soccer ball or two and actually playing with and against the people in the area, some of the
older boys and men really enjoy this.
* Cheerio necklaces and bracelets-getting some string, cheerios or fruit loops and teaching the children to make
their own necklaces or bracelets-note: they may be eaten before completing.
* Witness necklaces and bracelets-buying some string or leather bands and beads that minister the story of
salvation through Christ with each color.
* Volleyball-bringing a volleyball and net, we have poles, and setting up around the job-site or school and playing
with the locals in the area.
* Crafts all ages-any craft that can be taught to the people, they really enjoy getting involved with the groups and
this is a wonderful way to do it.
THERE MAY BE OTHER WAYS OF MINISTRY YOUR CHURCH OR GROUP HAS TO OFFER. WE ARE HERE TO SERVE YOU AND OPEN TO MINISTER AS GOD LEADS YOU TO - GOD BLESS!!!

CHRISTMAS LETTER
Dear Family:
Our Christmas party this year will be held Saturday, January 1, 2011. This year's door prizes will be bicycles, chest-a-drawers, stuffed animals and many more prizes along with that gift bag full of gifts which reflects the love that come from people like you each year. Every woman, man and child will receive this packet of love along with a hot meal, drink and dessert.
We are asking each church or individual to pray about sending a monetary donation to the ministry. Fuel costs to pick up Christmas items for the party would be about $2,000 round-trip. Spending that amount would defeat the effort in blessing the people of Mexico. These monies could be directed in blessing them in other ways. Items needed will be purchased in Texas and the gift packets will be prepared in Mexico. Last year, 1554 attended with 81 people making decisions to receive Jesus as Lord. We always prepare for 2000 people.
We thank you once again for your continued faithfulness. You always help us make the people in Mexico feel extra special during this time, our Lord's Birthday. We pray that January 1st will become the Spriritual Birthday to many of God's people in Mexico. May the presence and blessings of our Lord be with you and your family this Christmas. You are in our prayers and forever in our hearts.
In His Service,
Rosie Gonzalez
